Ringo Starr, le batteur du groupe légendaire des Beatles, raconte dans une interview avec le 'Los Angeles Times' qu'il a découvert Dieu dans sa vie après des décennies de recherche.

Ringo Starr et les autres Beatles causèrent un scandale dans les années 1960 parce qu'ils flirtaient publiquement avec les religions orientales. Le groupe avait eu en 1966 au Pays de Galles une rencontre avec le gourou Maharashi Mahesh Yogi et en 1967 ils sont allés en Inde du Nord pour mieux y apprendre à connaître les religions orientales. En 1966 John Lennon avait irrité pas mal de chrétiens en disant que les Beatles étaient plus populaires que Jésus.

Cette semaine, Ringo Starr a dit au 'Los Angeles Times':

"Je pense que suis en recherche depuis les années 1960. Grâce à Dieu j'ai retrouvé le chemin."
